Reacting to the Past: An Introduction

This paper will offer an introduction to the history and methods of the Reacting pedagogy and describe its implementation at various schools.  The paper will then describe the "Athens game" ("The Threshold of Democracy: Athens in 403 BC"), followed by brief descriptions of other Reacting games now available or in development.  Finally, the paper will consider how the Reacting pedagogy might be incorporated into the classics curriculum.
