HOTEL INFORMATION

The Holiday Inn West Conference Center and the Ramada Limited are located adjacent to each other on the same property at 7417 W. Newberry Road, Gainesville, FL 32605. Both are full service hotels and offer similar amenities. Complimentary parking for all overnight guests is available on site. The convention rate at each hotel is $78.95, plus 9.25% tax, for a standard double (1-4 persons) or king room (1-2 persons). Please make a reservation by calling either one of the hotels directly (Holiday Inn West: 352-332-7500 or 800-551-8206; Ramada Limited: 352-332-8001 or 877-332-8001) and stating that you will be attending the CAMWS Annual Meeting.  All conference attendees, whether they are staying at the Holiday Inn or at the Ramada, will be entitled to the full breakfast buffet served in the Holiday Inn's Banyan Restaurant, at a special reduced rate of $3.99 per guest.  Guests at the Ramada will also receive a complimentary continental breakfast. Any reservation received after midnight on March 8, 2006, will be accepted on a space-available basis.

The Holiday Inn West has agreed to provide complimentary shuttle service from the Gainesville Regional Airport to the hotels, but you must reserve a space on the shuttle at the same time as you reserve your hotel room (before March 9).  After directly calling one of the hotels to make your room reservation, also specifically request the shuttle service and provide the scheduled arrival and departure times for your flights.  Taxi service will also be available (Gainesville Cab: 352-371-1515; Gator Cab: 352-375-0313; Presto Taxi: 352-375-7725; Yellow Cab: 352-374-9696).

There are three Holiday Inns in Gainesville: do not confuse the Holiday Inn West with the Holiday Inn University Center or the Holiday Inn Express.
