FACULTY-UNDERGRADUATE COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH PROJECT APPLICATION

Please use this application form to apply for a CAMWS research grant supporting collaborative research between a faculty member and an undergraduate. This application must be received by November 15, 2016.

The faculty member participating in this project must be a current CAMWS member at the time of application. The undergraduate does not. If you respond no to this question, you will be redirected to the membership page so that the faculty membership in CAMWS can be renewed. If awarded the grant, the undergraduate will receive a complimentary membership in CAMWS for the year of the grant.
Please provide here a 200-word abstract of the project proposal.
This detailed research statement must outline the nature of the project, give a prospective timeline for the project, and provide an account of the respective responsibilities and intellectual contributions of faculty member and student. The statement must describe what the research pair envisages the nature of the final product to be, and what contribution it is intended to make to the field. The statement must also indicate whether the project is receiving support from the applicants' home institution.

Budget (indicating how the money will be spent; the award covers such expenses as books, supplies, and travel for the student (but not honoraria).

Indicate here the address of the Department or the suitable office within the institution which to which grant funds should be sent. Please note that any unspent funds must be returned to CAMWS at the end of the grant period.

Once this application is submitted, both the faculty member and the student will receive emails requesting that they indicate their willingness to participate in this project.
