Owen Cramer of Colorado Collage writes:"I’ll name Generose Dunn 1916-2010, of Pinckneyville, southern Illinois. She was my Latin teacher in Chicago in the mid-1950s and I liked her and got a good deal from her instruction and her providing me with volumes of Ullmann and Henry to study (I will always treasure the moment when I realized that Caesar was actually speaking to me in his language and I could understand him), You would probably enjoy reading about her life, which I caught up on reading this obituary. She remains a wholly admirable woman in my mind, and the minds of many other students."
