CAMWS Podcasting Report
2019-20
At the 2019 annual meeting in Lincoln, Nebraska, I recorded interviews with the two winners of the CAMWS First Book Award, Andrew Johnston and Thomas Keeline. Lauri Reitzammer, winner of the 2019 CAMWS Award for Excellence in College Teaching, was due to be interviewed in the fall, but due to COVID-19, this has been rescheduled for June. The episode with Andrew Johnston has already been released and the episodes with Thomas Keeline and Lauri Reitzammer will be released in May and June, respectively.
If the award winners are agreeable, I plan to interview the 2020 winners of the CAMWS First Book Award (Nandini Pandey and Stephanie Roussou), the Bolchazy Pedagogy Book Award (Christine Loren Albright), and the CAMWS Award for Excellence in College Teaching (Teresa Ramsby) via Zoom over the summer and fall. These episodes can be released over the next year.
Furthermore, due to the virtual nature of the 2020 annual meeting, it will be easy to turn any paper, panel, or session from the conference into a podcast episode.
Respectfully submitted,
Sam Kindick
