Jacqueline DiBiasie-Sammons at the University of Mississippi has received an NEH Summer Stipend for her project, "Voices from the Ashes: The Charcoal Graffiti of Pompeii." Her research will lead to a book on newly discovered charcoal graffiti and written messages on the walls of Pompeii.
