The Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS) will hold its 110th Annual Meeting in Waco, Texas, beginning on the evening of Wednesday, April 2, 2014, and ending on the afternoon of Saturday, April 5, at the invitation of Baylor University. All sessions will be held in the Waco Hilton Hotel and the adjacent Waco Convention Center except those on Friday afternoon, which will take place on the Baylor campus.
If you wish to have a display at this meeting, please fill out an exhibitor reservation form on-line at https://camws.org/membership/exhibitor.php. Payment for any fees may be made via PayPal. You may also remit a check, accompanied by a copy of your on-line reservation, to the CAMWS office. Exhibit space for reservations made after March 3, 2014 cannot be guaranteed.
There will be a $30 fee to cover the set-up, use, and tear-down of a table for the duration of the conference; each exhibitor may request up to six tables (= $180). The $30 fee for one table will be waived for any non-profit Classics organization. While we cannot guarantee that there will be enough space for all the tables requested, we will do our best to accommodate. As soon as we know how many exhibitors plan to come, we will decide on the most efficient way to arrange the tables and will confirm the number with you.
Each exhibitor will receive one complimentary registration for the meeting. Please note that this exhibitor registration does not include a ticket to the Friday evening banquet, which can be purchased on the exhibitor reservation form. Registration for additional exhibitors is $80.00 each with banquet optional. Banquet tickets are available for purchase at $60.00 per person.
All exhibits will be located in the Texas Rooms South (116-118) of the Waco Convention Center, close to the breakout rooms and the conference registration. For a floor plan of the facilities, go to: http://www.wacocc.com/planners/floor-plans/.
Please consider donating money toward one of the snack breaks; we will advertise your sponsorship on signs in the refreshment area. If sponsorship is paid in full prior to Monday, February 3, 2014, recognition will be made in the program. Exhibit hours will be 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. You may begin setting up on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m.; we will send you table assignments ahead of time. All exhibits must be removed from the Waco Convention Center by 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Although the room will be locked when not in use, neither the Waco Convention Center nor CAMWS assumes liability in the event of theft or damage.
