This is the link to our restaurants including, farm-to-table, minority, and locally owned. Most are locally owned and vegan friendly. According to our local Bienville Bites Food Tour owner/operator, Chris Andrew: “Slurp Society is very vegan friendly. They always accommodate. Noble South would be a great choice. The Power Salad at Squid Ink. Roosters has a veggie taco with no cheese, plus the chips and salsa or guacamole would be a good meal. Of course, Guncles for a dessert would be the go-to. Mediterranean Sandwich has a gyro with a plant-based protein, plus a side of hummus, that could be a great lunch spot. For a nice dinner, I might suggest The Trellis Room with some of their pasta dishes. You might have to customize it with no cheese or sauces, but I can see them easily accommodating.”
Here is a link to a number of Black-owned owned businesses in the downtown area.
This is the video called, “Our Living History” which I think your attendees will appreciate.
