The 119th meeting of CAMWS will take place March 29th-April 1st, 2023,
in Provo, Utah at the Provo Marriott and Convention Center
at the invitation of THE UTAH CLASSICAL ASSOCIATION.
Getting to Provo, Utah
The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is 45 miles from Provo, UT.
The Salt Lake Express and Flixbus buses run between the Airport and the Provo Central Transportation Hub (exit 263) several times a day.
The FrontRunner Commuter Train Service - From the airport, take the Trax Green Line to the North Temple Stop to change to the FrontRunner.
NOTA BENE: The train does not run on Sundays.
Express Shuttle Utah offers door-to-door service from SLC to the Provo Marriott and Convention Center.
About the Hotel:
All events will take place in the Provo Marriott and Convention Center. Note that the Marriott provides complimentary parking and on-site Electric car charging stations.
Lactation Room:
A Lactation Room will be available throughout the conference in the Marriott as a private space where nursing mothers and parents with small children can attend to their needs, if attendees indicate that it is needed.
Quiet Room:
A Quiet Room will be available in the Marriott throughout the conference for attendees who need a temporary quiet space during the meeting.
Gender-Neutral Bathrooms:
Gender-neutral bathrooms will be available in the Marriott.
CAMWS Author Book Display
CAMWS plans to display recent books by CAMWS authors at the 2023 meeting in Provo. If you have had a book published in the last three years and would like your book included, you are welcome to bring along a copy to add to the display or have a copy mailed from the press by March 1st, 2023 to the CAMWS office at the following address: CAMWS Author Book Display, Watson Memorial Library, RM 313, Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, LA 71497. You do not have to attend the meeting to have your book displayed.
